Meet the Founder

Okie Bee was founded by Sean and his wife, Celine. They have been married for over 25 years and have three beautiful daughters together. Similar to the lifestyle of bees, Sean and Celine prioritize family above all else. Sean's mother lives in their home with them and his daughters are having the values of hard work, connection, family and health being instilled in them from a loving, multigenerational home. Sean's desire is that Okie Bee would inspire and educate others on the value of family, health and hard work. Together, he and Celine hope that other families would catch the vision and also raise their children to value personal wellness, prioritize family and recognize the vital role they fill in both in family and the world around them.

Why Okie Bee?

Okie Bee was inspired by the lifestyle and behavior of bees. When you look to the bees, you will see they are inherently family-focused. Bees are incredibly hardworking and prioritize the health of themselves and their hive above everything else. Bees also massively impact the environment around them and consistently produce more than enough honey for them and their family! Most bees do not understand the value of their contribution or the impact on the world around them, but that does not stop them from going about their work confidently and capably, knowing they fill a valuable role.

If you think about it, we humans tend to be similar. Many of us are unaware of what we contribute to our families or society. We don’t always value our role or recognize our importance, but what we contribute to the world makes a greater impact than we realize. Just like the bees, we humans are meant to live in community. We need to learn to work hard, prioritize family, maintain good relationships, and care for our health and for others.

We all need to recognize and value the roles we fill in family and society. One impactful way we can showcase our commitment to our unique roles is to prioritize our health and wellness. By caring for our health, we acknowledge the value of our role and the impact we make. Prioritizing health allows us to fill these roles to the best of our ability and make the greatest impact we can. Just as the bees are unaware of how far their contribution goes, we also will not know the extent of our impact on the world around us.
